Our Power Is Temporarily Out
OUR POWER IS OUT!! A tree is down covering Jackman road in Joelton (davidson county) right by our driveway at 8131 Jackman Road, access to our drive is blocked but the police are helping our staff get to the facility to care for the animals. We currently have over 400 animals in our care.
OUR PHONES ARE OUT, This means anyone who finds an injured animal today will have to go to Walden’s Puddle and click on animal care instructions until our power is back on and we can take the calls and animals you have rescued. In an extreme emergency call 615 714 4002.
Also, the Chevrolet Suburban that we transport our animals to the vet in was totaled yesterday in a car accident, no humans or animals were injured, but shook up. We are humbly asking for a donation of an SUV of this sort. We receive no federal or state funding and operate by private donations only. We admit over 3500 injured and orphaned wild animals per year of over 120 different species that the great people of our community find and bring to us. We are always in need of support, please consider including the animals at Walden’s Puddle in your holiday giving!
