Charity of Choice

We would love the opportunity to partner with you as your charity of choice.

As Nashville continues to grow, the pressures on our local wildlife continue to grow as well. Every day, more wild animals are affected by habitat loss, human activity, and the challenges of living alongside a rapidly expanding community.

At Walden’s Puddle, we are a professionally staffed wildlife rehabilitation and education center serving Middle Tennessee from our home in Davidson County. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, every tax-deductible donation directly supports the care, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned native wildlife.

Unlike many organizations, Walden’s Puddle receives no state or federal funding. The lifesaving work we do is only possible because of the generosity of compassionate individuals, families, and businesses who care deeply about protecting the wildlife that shares our community.

If your business is interested in making Walden’s Puddle your featured charity for a special day, week, month, or even as a year-round community partner, we would be honored to work with you. Together, we can create meaningful opportunities for your employees and customers to make a lasting difference while demonstrating your commitment to conservation and our local community.

Please contact our Outreach Coordinator at Outreach@waldenspuddle.org to learn more about partnership opportunities.

We also invite you to visit our profile on www.givingmatters.com to learn more about our mission and impact.

Thank you for considering a partnership with Walden’s Puddle. Together, we can protect, heal, and give a second chance to Tennessee’s native wildlife. The life-saving work we do can only be accomplished with the generosity of caring people like YOU!

Volunteer the Use of Your Land to Release Animals

Walden’s Puddle depends on citizens who care enough about Tennessee’s ecosystem and natural habitats to provide accessible, appropriate natural areas for our rehabilitated patients. Since suitable release sites for our rehabilitated wildlife are essential to their survival, you will help complete the rehabilitation cycle by volunteering your property.

Please note that we cannot release animals on the property if:

  • The land allows hunting or trapping.
  • The land is in a subdivision.
  • The land is more than a 90-minute drive from Joelton, TN.
  • The land is not in the state of Tennessee.
